First of all, welcome, we’re excited for you and the discoveries that lie ahead for you. You wouldn’t normally think that such basic necessities like those in the Melaleuca product line would be a source of excitement but a new adventure awaits you. I wanted to create this post to be extra helpful to you at this stage.
As a new customer, Melaleuca has a great number of introductory deals and incentives to make it easy to replace those “more harm than good” products you’re using now. The $100 in FREE products during your first 5 months is certainly ideal. And various New Customer Savings Packs at special discounts for your first 2 months are a great way to get started. Given the toxic nature of mainstream household cleaners, I would highly recommend the EcoSense Safer for Your Home Pack. It will save you nearly $50 off the normal Preferred Member price after your initial 2 month period.
I could boast extensively about all the merits of these products but I suspect your biggest surprise will be the fragrances of these products for what they do. Being natural and primarily plant based, they all have a clean and pleasing aroma, yet they work better than those harsh chemicals we’ve all been conditioned to think are necessary to get the job done. None of these products even require a child proof cap. Your first thought when you open a container might be, “Will this stuff work?” Oh yeah!
It’s definitely good to switch all your current products over to Melaleuca right away, especially household cleaners and nutritional supplements. Those store bought products need to be put in a toxic waste dump where they belong. However, as tempting as it might be to take advantage of all the Savings Packs right away (the Bath and Body Pack is also one I do highly recommend), a bit of advanced planning around your needs is advised. These products are highly concentrated and last a long time.
Consider the fact that as a Preferred Member, there is a 35 point minimum monthly purchase requirement to continue getting the 30% to 50% discount and other benefits. The last thing you want to do is stockpile too much product and order frivolously to satisfy the minimum points. That’s not too much of a concern with the number of products Melaleuca offers that aren’t part of these Savings Packs, but it is an important consideration to keep in mind as you excitedly go about your first 2 month’s shopping spree.
On the subject of concentration, the Tough & Tender all purpose cleaner and the Tub & Tile (plus other cleaning products) would be great examples. Those little 8 oz. concentrate bottles fill the 16 oz. refillable mixing spray bottles six times. That’s a LOT of cleaner for one little 8 oz. bottle!
NOTE: You may want to mark the fill lines on the mixing spray bottle with a Sharpie because they’re harder to see otherwise when you’re mixing the concentrate and the water.
Ordering Tips
If you order by telephone, you can skip this tip. But if you order online, I find it helpful to add various items to the cart throughout the month as I think of them or notice something running low. It’s like an interactive shopping list you can keep adding to until you’re ready to actually place your order.
At the beginning of 2022, Melaleuca enhanced their loyalty incentives which revises those I previously posted here. The more you switch your buying to Melaleuca products, the more you save compared to the former loyalty incentives.
Melaleuca offers a good amount of specials and discounts. I recommend checking the Extra Savings section, particularly the New Products and sometimes the Outlet Store. You may very well find timely deals, especially around holidays. Even if they’re not deals per se, Limited Time items themed toward holidays can add a nice break from the routine.
Wrapping Up
I’ve thrown a lot at you for one session and I could easily do more but these starter points are what I consider the most valuable. I hope you’ll keep up with product features I’ll keep releasing here so you can absorb this all in bite sized chunks and enjoy your experience discovering Melaleuca products and even how they can be used in ways you might not otherwise think of. I very much welcome input from you that could be valuable to share with others.
